Best Seaside Ever

What else could we do in a hot day? Well, we went to a beautiful beach in Benidorm and it was the best seaside I have ever seen. There were so many people there, all relaxing under the sun. Even the sand was marvelous. It was white like crystals but it was so small that it didn't cut but tickled. It felt strong temptation to roll in the sand and shout out loud, and I wanted to jump in the crystal clear blue sea wich seemed clearer and bluer than anywhere else. Sadly I already bathed in the pool and my swimming suit was wet so we left it at home. But I can always go back – I mean I live here. Hey, I wonder what we are going to do today...!

The Dolphin Show

One sunny day we went to Benalmadena. There we went to a Zoo, wich was a bit more like a sea-center. Of course there were not just fishes. First we visited some cute little monkeys, we could go inside their cages, but was not allowed to touch them. Then we went to see some pinguines, they were behind a glass, and was really cold, even snowed there. But they enjoyed it, and swam really close. We have seen some gigantic turtles too, and my mom said, they can live up a hundred years or more. But the best part of the whole zoo was the dolphin pool. That was amaising! First we saw some seals, who tried to sing and this was very funny. But then comes the doplhins. All the seven were just beautiful. They did superb jumps, breathtaking saltos and also swam beautifully. But that was not the only one show in the zoo – there were also a parrot show, with colourful birds. And they were very clever too - at the beginning one said „wlcome” and at the end they said „goodbye”!

Churros

The ultimate favorite sweet of Spain is the churros. It is a sweet pastry baked in oil, and you have to put it is hot chocolate and sugar. Yummmmmy! I tried it (not once) and I have to admit, it is really delicious!

Love the Pools

In this boiling hot place, it is a good thing, that the pool is just down the window. Learly, that does not mean, that we jump out of our hotel romm window – we walk. But it does mean, that I can go down alone, because my mum can supervise me from the hotel room.
Now, the pool water can be cold, but I don't mind. Even so, it sometimes can feel great to duck beneath the cooling blue water, where everything is so quiet and calm when above is hot and noisy. Pity, that you can't stay down there forever!!! Well, even so, I love the pools!

Biopark

The Biopark in Fuengirola was marvelous! My favourite were the big gorillas. I've never seen them from this close. They were just behind the glass window and looking at us. But the best part was the big animal show. Firtsly big parrots flew above our heads. They were so colourful, then a lot of interesting animal were wandering in a little island, like armadillo, porcupine, otter, little pigs and even a kind of antilop. My lucky sister got the chance to feed them. But the funnierst part of this visit was when my sister was attacked by a jaguar. Believe it or not, it is true! Of course nothing serious happened, because there was a glass wall between them, but still... and we even got a photo just before she was attecked, and you can see the desire in the jaguar eyes for a small bite of flesh. Lucky Borsi, every exciting happened to her!

Rain in Spain

You would expect Spain to be sunny. Well – that is not the way it welcomed us. When we landed the sun was hidden with a coat of white fluffy clouds and raindrops pitterpattered down everywhere. But I don't complain, because Spain is a beautiful place, no matter what the weather is. The orange trees down the streets, the big bushes of exotic flowers and the sweet smell of the sea. Did you know that palm trees can live up to 200 years? Incredible! What else is so incredible? That parrots fly free on the streets. Ok, not the big red ones but they are really sweet. They are green with little red beaks and sing on the top of the palm treet. Not that sweet kind of song like the nightingales though.

Fun In France

Well, it does sound silly for someone to go to England just so they could get to France. Even if so, I DID do thet. Why? Simple! It was a school trip. And it was the best I ever been on!!! We had to wake up really early. It was so dark when we arrived at the school. After we arived at the school we had to wait for the bus and everything. It was a good thing we already had our suitcases in. After a few goodbye tears we were off!! It took hours to get to the station, but when we were there in less than an hour we were in France. We stayed in the PGL Hotel and had loads of great fun with my best friend, Georgia. The next day we again had fun with the PGL staff, trying to guess what it stand for. „Pretty Good Looking” or „Parents Get Lost”? What it really stand for is Peter Gordon Laurene, the man who founded the PGL. Then we went on a big tour to the seaside to see the sunset. I have never seen such a beautiful thing in my whole life. The next day we went to a WW2 Museum, because that was our main topic in the school ans for. To be honest that was the most boring part for me. By the way, how could I forget the market? Oh, it was gigantic!!! With so many things. Me and my friend bought a French hat. You could ask me, wich was my favourite part of the trip. Well, I'll tell you: DISNEYLAND PARIS! The rides, the palace, the parade, the shop, the show, the food and everything that never happened before with me. It was sad to say goodbe to France and heartbreaking to leave my best friend, but there wasn't time to cry because we started a new adventure awaited...
